In an emotionally charged Facebook post, Rodgers Odinga reported that Loice was a student at St. Anthony Uluthe Secondary School before her untimely death and was all set to sit for her national exams.

On April 23, Loice and her parents were asleep in their semi-permanent house when their house started burning and it eventually claimed their lives; seven children and two parents.
Why was Loice’s house burnt?
The fire, which broke out at around midnight while the family slept, raised an lot of questions as police probe its cause.
According to preliminary findings, a possible attack tied to a land row after the family won in court may have led to the heinous crime.
“She tragically died alongside her father, mother, and six siblings when their house was set ablaze by unknown individuals as they slept,” Odinga.
“Our heartfelt condolences go out to the bereaved family, the Uluthe Secondary School community, and all their friends,” he added.
