Wamuchomba Praises Ruto on Mega Project; Promises to Attend Ruto’s Next Githunguri Visit If Finished

Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba, a known ally of former Deputy President Gachagua, has commended President William Ruto for the ongoing construction of an aggregation center in Githunguri aimed at supporting avocado farmers.

While inspecting the facility, Wamuchomba expressed her satisfaction with the progress and hailed the project as a fulfillment of the promises made to Kiambu residents during the campaign period.

Despite her fallout with Ruto, Wamuchomba warmly welcomed the initiative, saying it reflects the kind of development leaders should focus on. She added that once the construction is complete and President Ruto comes to launch the facility, she will not hesitate to clap for him in appreciation.

Her remarks hinted at a possible thawing of political tension and emphasized the need to prioritize development over political differences. The project is expected to boost agricultural productivity and income for local farmers in the region.
