A family in Nakuru County is living in anguish following the tragic death of their daughter, Naomi Chebet, who was allegedly murdered by her husband, Samuel Njoroge, in their Kiambu home after prolonged domestic disputes.
As her grieving parents await justice, they remember their daughter with both love and regret, wishing she had heeded their warnings.
Naomi’s parents had cautioned her against staying with Njoroge after he reportedly threatened her and their three children.
Despite their pleas, Naomi continued the relationship, a decision that ended in tragedy. She was found dead in her Kabete rental apartment, with a post-mortem revealing multiple stab wounds and blunt force trauma.
Police reports indicate that Njoroge fled the scene after the night incident. Witnesses confirmed seeing Naomi enter the apartment with him hours before her death. Disturbingly, Njoroge allegedly posted a cryptic Facebook message hinting at the crime before disappearing.
New details suggest Njoroge was recently spotted near the deceased’s home in Solai, Nakuru, disguised in Muslim attire and a mask, allegedly trailing and monitoring his children, whom he once vowed to harm. His phone was last traced to Ruaraka, but authorities have yet to arrest him.
Authorities have called on the public to report any sightings of Njoroge immediately
