A dramatic turn of events was watched on Sunday evening after a section of football supporters stormed the Nairobi streets chanting “Ruto Must Go” after leaving Nyayo stadium.
Thousands of football lovers gathered inside the Nyayo stadium to watch an entertaining football match between Gor Mahia and AFC leaders, a derby that brings together football teams from Luo and Luhya communities.
Unlike previous matches of this fixture that has been marred with chaos, today’s match that ended in a barren draw was played peacefully with football fans from both sides supporting their teams till the end.
And afte this entertaining cameo, a video that has been posted online now shows a section of youths showing their dissatisfaction with the President William Ruto’s administration as they chanted Anti-Ruto songs on the streets of Nairobi.
This happens at the time when Kenyans have now decided to use every opportunity the get to denounce the leadership of President William Ruto as they chant in almost every occasion.
A similar incident was watched last week when the football fans who had turned up to watch a World cup qualifier match between Kenya Gabon began to make the anti-Ruto slogan.
