Speaking at the Kahuhia Girls High School Prize Giving Day, Nyoro emphasised that STEM subjects are crucial for learners to excel in the evolving global economy.

“We must ensure our students are equipped with skills in science and mathematics, as that is where the world is heading,” Nyoro said.

He urged the Ministry of Education to support the inclusion of STEM in the curriculum to avoid being left behind in the technological age.

Other speakers included Petwe Munga, Chairman of Equity Bank, who encouraged students to pursue their dreams regardless of challenges, and Laban Ayiro, Vice Chancellor of Daystar University, who advised parents to be honest with their children about life’s realities.
