Speaking during the commissioning of the newly tarmacked Kandundu Road and the construction of classrooms in Kandundu Ward, Nyoro stated that his focus remains on projects that will have a lasting impact.
“What overwrites the test of time is what you do and not what you say. With all the issues that are ongoing politically in our country, sometimes it’s also good that we speak through our actions and speak through what we are doing,” he said.
The lawmaker, a former National Assembly Budget and Appropriations Committee chairperson, urged fellow leaders to prioritise service delivery, cautioning that political bickering will not be remembered, but tangible projects will.
He also called for mutual respect among elected officials, warning that his silence should not be mistaken for weakness.
As leaders, when we work with respect, our country will go forward, but that respect should not be misconstrued as fear because in this life, there is only God to be feared,” he stated.
Nyoro assured his supporters that when the right time comes, he will announce his political direction without hindrance.
Despite heightened political temperatures, he reaffirmed his resolve to continue serving his constituents.

Administration officials boycott Nyoro’s event
Meanwhile, tensions emerged recently after administrative officials from Kiharu boycotted the launch of an Assistant County Commissioner’s office, leaving only residents to receive Nyoro.
Addressing the gathering, he reiterated his commitment to development and unity, vowing to avoid divisive politics.
The event came a day after Nyoro broke his silence on his removal as the chair of the Budget and Appropriations Committee, revealing that he was not informed about the reasons behind his ouster and was not consulted by the Kenya Kwanza leadership led by President William Ruto, regarding the decision.
Meanwhile, some allies of Ruto have initiated grassroots mobilisation ahead of his highly anticipated visit to Mount Kenya scheduled to begin on Tuesday, April 1.
The president will return to the region after a six-month absence, following the impeachment of his former deputy, Rigathi Gachagua.
During his development tour, the head of state is expected to inaugurate several completed projects across all the counties in the region.
Is Ndindi Nyoro on good terms with William Ruto?
Meanwhile, Nyoro acknowledged having personal reservations about certain decisions but maintained that addressing them was not within his role.
He further revealed that his last political conversation with Ruto took place before October 2024 ahead of Gachagua’s ouster, hinting at a possible strain in their relationship.
After Gachagua’s removal, attempts were made to cleanse Parliament of perceived disloyal members, with Nyoro appearing to be among them.
