The riders disclosed that they had long admired Sudi’s rise from the bottom to one of the most powerful men in Kenya, which offered them hope.

Speaking during the event, MC Vuvuzela Kiplagat praised Sudi for being a champion of grassroots development and an inspiration to many.

“As bodaboda riders, we appreciate people who have done the unthinkable by breaking barriers that seem untenable,” he said.

Vuvuzela added that Sudi’s journey has been instrumental in their belief that better days are ahead for them.

Riders paraded through the streets of Ravine Town, waving banners and chanting birthday wishes for the MP.

Although MP Sudi was not physically present, he acknowledged the gesture, thanking the riders for their kind words.

He assured them of his continued commitment to advocating for youth empowerment and economic development in the transport sector.

The celebrations concluded with a cake-cutting session and entertainment as riders pledged to continue working together for the betterment of their community.
