‘Stop Over-relying on Raila and Act’ Pauline Njoroge Cautions Kenyans

Few weeks ago, vocal Jubilee party official Pauline Njoroge responded to former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo statement that, Raila Odinga should not get the AU Job so that he comes back to Kenya’s politics. Today, Pauline Njoroge is still asking William Kabogo and others who cannot act on their own but rely on Raila.

Taking to her Facebook page, Pauline stressed that Kabogo and other like minded Kenyans should collaborate to make a strong opposition.

She cautioned Kabogo among other Kenyans who didn’t vote for Raila to stop over relying on the ODM boss to voice their issues. Pauline Njoroge further challenged the ex Governor and other leaders to move quickly and start challenging the government’s excesses.

“Why can’t Kabogo join forces with other like minded Kenyans to create a formidable opposition team? This overreliance on Raila is too much. People who never even voted for him are praying that he does not get the AUC seat so that he continues to fight for them.

How selfish is that? What would have happend to the opposition if Raila had won the AU Chairmanship, if leaders can’t move and consistently challenge the excesses of the government without him?… ” Pauline Njoroge’s post reads.

This came just a few days after the Azimio la Umoja boss slammed the government for forcefully evacuating Kenyans from areas affected by floods. Raila made this caution before he was defeated in AU race.

Raila’s sentiments towards the government left Kenyans with divided opinions keeping in mind that the former is relying on the government’s support to clinch the AU top job later this year.

Kabogo is among the leaders who prefer Raila failing to secure the AU job and continue concentrating on the local politics.

Now that Raila has been defeated and back to Kenya, Pauline Njoroge still insists that Kabogo and allies should stop overelying on Odinga. ‘Why don’t you form an alliance of opposition’ she slammed.
