Butere MP Nicholas Scott Tindi Mwale has been elected Chairperson of the National Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC), defeating his closest challenger, Rarieda MP Paul Otiende Amollo.
Mwale, who had previously served as the committee’s Vice Chairperson, had been acting as Chairperson for the past six months following the appointment of nominated MP Hon.
