“The night was quiet; the pope is resting,” the Vatican News stated.
His blood test results remain stable, indicating a positive response to prescribed therapies.
“On Saturday evening, the Press Office said the Pope’s blood tests revealed stable results, indicating that he is responding well to the prescribed therapies,” the statement added.
Due to his ongoing hospitalisation, the Vatican has cancelled the traditional Sunday prayer at St. Peter’s Square for the fourth consecutive time, as Yahoo reported.

However, the Pope will still participate spiritually in the Lenten spiritual exercises that began on Sunday, March 9, joining in communion with the Roman Curia.
Pope’s health setbacks and treatment
Initially admitted with bronchitis, Pope Francis was later diagnosed with double pneumonia and has since experienced two episodes of respiratory failure.
Throughout his treatment, he has been placed on a ventilation machine and was previously using non-invasive mechanical ventilation. However, he is now back on a high-flow oxygen mask as his condition stabilises.
As the Pope continues to receive treatment, millions of Catholics worldwide have offered prayers for his swift recovery.

Pope Francis has led the Catholic Church since 2013, and his ongoing health challenges have drawn global concern and support from religious leaders and followers alike.
The Vatican has assured the public that it will continue to provide updates on the Pope’s condition in the coming days.
Pope Francis speaks for the first time since hospitalisation
In another promising news, while still hospitalised, Pope Francis expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the faithful through a voice message, assuring them of his spiritual presence and appreciation for their prayers.
The brief yet deeply moving message was met with thunderous applause from worshippers, who have been holding nightly rosary prayers for his recovery.
Cardinal Mauro Gambetti, who presided over the gathering in St. Peter’s Square, called the recording “a beautiful gift”, bringing unexpected joy to those praying for the Pontiff.
