Eric Omondi has strongly responded to critics questioning his girlfriend Lynne’s weight loss after giving birth to their daughter, Kayla Omondi.

Since welcoming their baby, social media users have been quick to notice Lynne’s drastic transformation, with some speculating that stress might be the cause.
However, in a recent interview with popular blogger Miss Trudy Kitui, the comedian dismissed the claims and defended his partner’s appearance.

The former Churchill Show icon rubbished the claims, asserting that Lynne is still young and has every right to look the way she does.
He emphasised that people will always have something negative to say, regardless of the situation.
“Lynne is okay, now what do people want? Wacha Lynne aslay If she had gained weight, they’d say she looks bad and should hit the gym. If she goes to the gym, they’ll say she’s stressed. If you look bad, they’ll talk. If llok nice, they’ll say you’re stressed. Lynne is fine, anakaa poa, she looks good and feels great. People will always talk,” he stated.
The backlash follows Lynn openly sharing her weight loss journey on social media.
In 2024, she revealed that she had shed 17kg over eight months, describing the process as challenging but fulfilling. Lynn noted that she now feels healthier and happier.
