Also joining the squad is right-back Kevin Monyi, who makes the switch from Kisumu All Stars. Monyi’s defensive versatility and ability to support attacking plays from the flanks could offer Gor Mahia more tactical options, especially in high-stakes matches.
Another defensive-minded signing is Sydney Ogutu, a robust defensive midfielder from Kibra United.
Further strengthening the midfield is Ben Stanley, an attacking playmaker from Kakamega Homeboyz. His creative prowess and ability to unlock defenses with key passes will be crucial in Gor Mahia’s bid to sharpen their attacking play.
In attack, the club has secured the services of two foreign forwards—Cameroonian striker Patrick Essombe from Sportive de Douala and Rwandan forward Charles Bbaale from Rayon Sports FC.
Both players bring international experience and an eye for goal, attributes that could be vital in boosting the club’s offensive efficiency.
While Gor Mahia welcomed their new recruits, they also saw the departure of five players. Sydney Ochieng, Musa Masika, Dolph Owino, Enock Wanyama, and Kevin Juma all parted ways with the club as part of the squad reshuffle.
Gor Mahia aims to maintain its dominance in the FKFPL and push for a strong performance in continental competitions.
