KTN News on Monday during its 9pm news bulletin exclusively reported that former Deputy President Hon Rigathi Gachagua has sent his former boss Pres William Ruto back to the drawing board, in regards to a move that could have seen atleast 13 MPs allied to Gachagua ejected out of the leadership committees of the Parliament.
According to the report by the local publication, it has emerged that the decision to eject the MPs from various leadership roles was postponed to early next year following the growing rebellion against Pres William Ruto in the Mt Kenya region as well as the Ukambani regions.
A few weeks ago, Kimani Ichung’wah, the Kikuyu Member of Parliament who doubles as the Majority leader in the National Assembly predicted that before Christmas some MPs will be without their powers.
But Gachagua has constantly insisted that William Ruto will regret sidelining the Mt Kenya region when the 2027 poll results will be announced.
