He was responding to bloggers who had alleged that he had resulted in deactivating his socials following the recent operation.

“I’ve already passed the stage of dealing with the DCI; now I’m with Interpol, and they still haven’t caught me. Let them bring the CIA next,” he wrote on his Instagram stories.

Although Kenyan Prince was not directly implicated in the Interpol crackdown, his extravagant lifestyle and immense wealth at a young age have fuelled speculation that he might be on their radar.

However, Kenyan Prince attributes his immense wealth to his success in forex trading, claiming it has been the key driver of his lavish lifestyle.

Details of Interpol’s crackdown in Kenya

On November 27, Interpol announced the arrest of 1,006 individuals across multiple nations as part of a coordinated international operation code-named Serengeti.

The global policing agency disclosed that among those apprehended were over two dozen Kenyans accused of participating in a Sh1.1 billion online credit card fraud scheme targeting Kenyan financial institutions.

The operation, conducted in collaboration with the African Union’s police body, Afripol, uncovered a sophisticated network that altered banking systems’ security protocols to run fraudulent scripts.

This activity reportedly resulted in losses amounting to $8.6 million.

In Kenya, officers cracked a case of online credit card fraud linked to losses of USD 8.6 million. The funds, stolen through fraudulent scripts run after altering the banking system’s security protocol, were promptly redistributed by the group via SWIFT to companies in the United Arab Emirates, Nigeria and China and subsequently, to digital asset institutions offering trading and financial services regulated in multiple jurisdictions. Nearly two dozen arrests have been made so far,” Interpol stated.

Additionally, Interpol disclosed that law enforcement agencies in 19 African nations dismantled over 134,000 malicious infrastructures and networks during the operation.
