Interviews for Twalib Mbarak’s replacement at the helm of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) kick off on Tuesday.
Mbarak has been the CEO of the anti-graft state agency since January 2019 and his six-year term expires in January 2025.
From the 172 applicants for the role, EACC shortlisted 14 candidates: Stephen Ngowa, Doreen Muthaura, Jackson Mue, Joseph Onyango, Paul Maina, Victor Okongo, Peter Lomulen and Obadiah Keitany.
