Kenyan Schoolgirl Breaks Down After Father Who Worked in Bahrain for 5 Years Surprises Her in School

A video of a young girl running to hug her dad and then breaking into tears after he surprised her in school has caused many to become emotional online.
In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, the dad, identified as Geprffrey Ndichu, shared that he had been away for five years, and that was the first time he was laying eyes on his daughter in five years.
“I was working as a supervisor in a security company…we don’t leave them because we hate them ; we do so to look for Greener pastures,” said the father of two. “It is not easy to stay away from our kids; five years without them. She as overexcited after using five years of communicating through video calls now its real. Daddy’s love,” said Ndichu.
In a similar story, Michael Phiri who lost his wife to a tragic bus accident happily reunited with his little daughter; she survived the tragedy with minor injuries.
Together with the survivors, Phiri’s daughter was taken to the Levy Mwanawasa Medical Hospital courtesy of the well-wishers. The police worked with the hospital and the public to help Phiri’s daughter reunite with her worried dad.
