A local publication reports that a county boss from one of the counties has been put on the spot over a road that was constructed leading to his rural home.
Details indicate that the governor utilised millions of shillings from the county government coffers to build the road that started from the shopping centre to his rural home.
It is reported that area residents have questioned why the road was constructed towards the governor’s rural home only while other areas also need road connection.
Questions have also been raised on why the road ends at the governor’s rural home and not other villages.
“Residents are questioning the rationale for prioritising the project while other parts of the county are in more dire need of better roads. They are also wondering why the road, which starts at the shopping centre and ends at the county boss’s gate, does not extend to other parts of the village,” the publication reports.
