Seven United democratic Alliance members of Parliament who recently stood in solidarity against the impeachment of the deputy president are currently accompanying him to an event that is ongoing in Mount Kenya.
Today marks one week since the former deputy president was removed from office and replaced by the cabinet Secretary and charge of interior and national coordination at an event that was presided over by the head of state President William ruto.
Among the leaders accompanying the former deputy president, including members of Parliament Wamuchomba from Githunguri, Muriu, the woman representative from Kirinyaga and Kiambu together with the Senator kiambu County among other leaders.
The deputy president who was impeached his letter on expected to give his speech at the tail end of the event with emphasis on the unity of the people of the Mountain ahead of the next general election.
