After most of the leaders in the country accused former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua of dividing Kenyans, finally the church has sent a strong message to new deputy president Kindiki.
According to the source, Rt. Rev. Wycliffe Nyaperah, Bishop of Thika Diocese, has broken his silence and asked Kindiki to unite all Kenyans. He has also asked deputy president Kindiki to make sure that president William Ruto is on good terms with the former president, Uhuru Kenyatta, to make sure that the country is stable and developing.
I quote his statement from the source:Reach out to the former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, promote reconciliation, brotherhood, and cooperation. Additionally, help bridge the relationship between President William Ruto and retired President Uhuru Kenyatta for the prosperity and stability of our country,” he said.
This just came in after Kindiki was sworn in as deputy president.
Further, the bishop has added that he is very confident that Kindiki will be able to unite all of Kenya.
“As you embrace this important role, I encourage you to lead with integrity and compassion. While challenges lie ahead, I am confident that your commitment to unity and the common good will guide your decisions,” he added.
This also happens as Kenyans have been waiting for Kindiki to resume the work as deputy president of Kenya.
Let us wait and see if Kindiki will fulfil his promises and unite all Kenyans, including the former president Uhuru Kenyatta, with the president William Ruto.
