After challenging how he was ousted from office, Impeached Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has trained his guns on designate DP Kithure Kindiki.
Gachagu explained that during a vetting process of CSs, Prof Kindiki told MPs that he had resigned from UDA Party.
Gachagua quoted the constitution which requires a deputy President nominee to have been a member of a political party within 3 months prior to the appointment.
However, those representing the State, revealed that Kindiki was qualified after he was approved by EACC, KRA, Registrar of Political Parties, among other organizations.

Gachagua on Monday, October 28, filed a petition at the Court of Appeal seeking to stop the ongoing proceedings at the High Court while detesting the three-judge bench.
He wants the Appellate Court to issue an injunction stopping the impeachment hearing at the High Court over dissatisfaction after a ruling by the three judges failed to declare that Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu acted unlawfully in appointing them.
Gachagua through his lawyer John Njomo stated that the rulings were inaccurate, erroneous and were a misinterpretation of Article 165 (4) of the Constitution
