Ruto Requests High Court to Drop Gachagua Impeachment, Calls for Supreme Court Jurisdiction

The head of state President William Ruto wants the High Court to drop Gachagua’s impeachment cases, argues the dispute should be handled by Supreme Court.

This comes after Gachagua went to court to block the swearing in of the deputy President elect Hon Rigathi. Gachagua claims that he was not given a chance to express himself at the Senate impeachment hearings proceedings because he fell sick.

“You also can’t handle court cases or judiciary or even Gachagua, you can only handle Sudi or maybe handle a cow by inject it We know you have veterinary degree.” Martha Kani said.
