Makau Mutua Reacts After Gachagua Slammed Ruto Over His Impeachment Shortly Before Leaving Hospital

Makau Mutua, a well known Political commentator and close ally to Hon. Raila Odinga, has just reacted shortly after ousted deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, accused president William Ruto over his Impeachment. Gachagua hit out at Ruto while in Karen Hospital where he had been admitted. In a post that Mutua has highlighted on his official socials, he has said, Gachagua is missing a point. He has further gone ahead asking Kenyan courts to speed up the matter that is before them so that Gachagua can go forever. He said.

Makau Mutua is looking forward to seeing courts acting with speed so that the newly nominated deputy president Prof. Abraham Kithure Kindiki, can be sworn in for Kenya to move forward. He feels like, if Gachagua is still seen around, operating as the deputy president, he is holding the country hostage and to him, he wants him to out of Kenya’s political space for a period of time.

While Speaking to the members of press at Karen hospital, Gachagua accused president William Ruto on grounds that he has betrayed him, reminding Ruto that when he needed a friend, he was there for him unconditionally. Gachagua went ahead and told members of fourth estate that, he has been reduced to a nobody now, he has no security. All of them were withdrawn while he was undergoing treatment at Karen hospital. He said.

Gachagua has now told Kenyans that given that he has no security, if anything happens to him or any member of his family then it’s president William Ruto to be blamed.
