Mt Kenya Politician Sends Message to Kikuyu Community After Gachagua Was Impeached

Few moments after deputy president Rigathi Gachagua was impeached, Kenyan political class continue to give their views about it. As his opponents are in celebratory mood ,his supporters are unhappy and bitter with what happened in the senate.
Even so , race and competition to replace him is in high gear with a lot of lobbying for preferred candidates. Cabinet secretary and vocal politician Moses Kuria has sent a message to his Mount Kenya people.
Through his Verified X handle Kuria pushed for interior ministry cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki to replace the ousted “Truthful man”. Kuria said it was time for the West to enjoy.
“My beloved House of Mumbi.
In 2022 we paid external debts by voting for a non Mt Kenya candidate. Time has come for us to complete the debt paying season by paying our domestic debt through supporting for our Meru and Embu siblings to lead us. History will judge us right Take it fron your economist son,” he wrote.
Kithure Kindiki, Ndindi Nyoro, Irungu Kangata, Anne Waiguru are among the names largely mentioned to replace Rigathi Gachagua.
President William Ruto is expected to name his deputy sooner and the regional factor is the key consideration as he tries to keep his vote base for 2027.
