When it comes to some of the most successful Kenyan footballers on and off the field, it is with no doubt that Victor Mugubi Wanyama will be one of them.Currently playing his trade with Canadian and Major League Soccer (MLS) outfits CF Montreal, Wanyama initiated a plan of constructing a state of art football academy in Busia, western part of Kenya few years ago.The project is still going on and it’s taking shape day by day.
The project which is aimed at tapping young talent in the region is also set to promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing high quality affordable activities that improve health.It is also committed in ensuring that every students fulfill their potential to make outstanding contributions to their own and future generations.
This project which is situated in a 20 acre piece of land is set to have a state of the art 3G Astro Pitch, outdoor swimming pool, large free weights area and a cardio resistance equipment among other amenities once complete.Do you think that all able Kenyan footballers should come up with academies like Wanyama?
