Accidents in the country have seen many people lose their lives under circumstances that have shocked the nation as per the reports that we have with us.

Over the past few months of 2023, many Kenyans have lost their lives on the roads as per the data that we have with us from the National Transport and Safety Authority.
A few days ago, Kenyans were shocked to learn of the deaths of six students who were heading home after the break of the end of the first term.
The Mbihi Girls Secondary School students are said to have boarded the ill fated Matatu in Kakamega and were on their way to Nairobi as per the reports that we have with us.
Six of the girls died on the spot at the accident scene near Delamere Farm in Naivasha of Nakuru County while more were rushed to the hospital.
The rest of the girls are still in hospital where they are undergoing treatment to ensure that they regain their full health and go back to their education.
The news of the deaths of the six students shocked the country with the Cabinet Secretary of Transportation, Kipchumba Murkomen, calling for stricter measures to stop this carnage on the roads.
The bodies of the students who succumbed to the accident have been handed to their respective families for burial preparations as per the reports that we have with us.
We extend our condolences to the friends, family and colleagues of the six students who lost their lives in the shocking accident.
