Hon. Joshua Odhiambo has said that he wants someone close to the opposition leader Raila Odinga to explain what “open the server” means and how ODM expect this to be achieved?
Raila Odinga is on record saying that president William Ruto should open the IEBC servers so that kenyans can know who really won the 2022 presidential election.
“One man who I know helped computerise this country in the 1990s, shipping containers of computers into the country when the technology was still rare, is Hon. Thomas Ojanga.
He opines:
“What does it need to open the IEBC Servers? Do they need screw drivers or what is it that must be done and by whom so that the IEBC Servers can finally be opened? I ask this question as an ICT expert and an expert in distributed computing. I ask this question knowing that 50 million Kenyans think they know what ‘open the server’ means yet they don’t because there does not exist a phrase or terminology in technology as “open the server”. Can someone explain what “open the server” means and how ODM expect this to be achieved?
“Needless to mention that the KIEMS would have several device servers and several application servers. Which ones are targeted for opening ? Devices or applications ? Can someone be explicit on which and what servers are to be opened and how ?
