The arrival of President Ruto in the country was witnessed by the military officials as his deputy received him at the airport.
The President has been out of the country for four days because he had gone to the Republic of Germany and the Kingdom of Belgium.
While outside the country the president had an opportunity to meet with Kenyans living abroad where he also assured them of the safety of the property of all Kenyans.
After the tour the president is back in the country and at the same time the opposition is demonstrating so that the cost of living can be reduced. This has been going on and today is the third time.
However the president has hope and has repeatedly told Kenyans that the cost of living will soon come down and that they should be patient.
The Deputy president and the military officers were ready at the airport to receive the president. They looked happy as they greeted him, and shared a moment of laughter.
