Mutahi Ngunyi has raised concerns over the current state of affairs in the country following the calls by the Azimio leader Raila Odinga to have protests every Thursdays and Mondays.
He has warned the President over Thursday Azimio protest that will be uglier than the just concluded Monday’s protests.
He slammed the opposition led by the former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga for what he alleges is reckless and blasted the Government for what he claims is incompetence.
He has raised a question of whether the President has a plan to avert this Azimio and stop the growing anarchy in the country.
Inconsequential, according to opposition leader Raila Odinga, is the police statement regarding the invasion of public property on Monday.
Kenyans, according to Raila, are “intelligent” and aware of all that transpired.
He talked on Tuesday while touring the farm in Northlands that had been occupied by goons on Monday.
The family of former president Uhuru Kenyatta owns the land in Ruiru.
Even the absence of the police proves the incident was not a “accident,” according to the officer who claimed they had been given space within the large farm to build a police station.
Raila claimed that Spectre Limited’s planned invasion of the farm was known to the security agency.
Inspector General Japhet Koome issued a statement denouncing the actions that caused property destruction and announcing the beginning of investigations.
