Gaddafi’s Sole Daughter Who Went Into Hidding After The Assassination Of Her Father

When Idris I of Libya was only 27 years old, he was deposed by Muammar Gaddafi. The young man and his group of troops launched a successful bloodless coup and took over the government. Although Gaddafi, the previous leader of Libya, was a pariah who did many things that should be discussed, today is not that day. In any case, we are honoring Gaddafi’s only child today.

Muammar Gaddafi has many children from previous marriages, but only one biological daughter. There is much to be addressed with this stunning daughter of the recently departed pariah leader.Aisha Gaddafi, born on December 25, 1976, had to work hard in school if she was going to be able to represent her father at international events. Aisha Gaddafi served as a UN Goodwill Ambassador while completing her law degree at Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne University during her father’s reign.

Aisha persisted, and soon afterward enlisted in the Libyan armed forces. With her father’s help, she joined the military and quickly rose through the ranks to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before deciding to pursue other interests.

She married her father’s first cousin and a member of the Libyan military, Colonel Ahmed al-Gaddafi, in 2006. While watching over her father’s house, however, her husband tragically perished away. Aisha and her husband had three children, however one of them was killed when a NATO bombing missed the father and instead hit one of the kids.

Although Aisha Gaddafi appeared to be having a good time immediately following her father’s assassination in 2011, her circumstances soon deteriorated. To avoid being killed by rebel forces, she was forced into exile. Aisha first visited and remained in Algeria for a while before continuing on to Oman. She is still an Oman resident as of April 2021.

Although Aisha’s name was removed from the list of those blacklisted by European countries by the European Union Court, she continues to be hidden from the public eye.

Should she stay hidden so she may continue her father’s work, or should she come out?
