Former Liverpool player and legend Jamie Carrager has honestly named the London based teams Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur as the two top clubs that could be difficult to play against next season. Carrager believes that both Chelsea and Tottenham will improve next season and could be unstoppable in the premier league.
Chelsea has been struggling this season under their new head coach Graham Potter producing mixed results which has seen them remain at position ten in the premier league table despite signing so many players. The West London club is regarded as one of the clubs that could be a force to reckon in the premier league next season after their players manages to gel together.
On the other hand Tottenham Hotspur has not also been on thunderous form under Antonio Conte as the North London club has been producing mixed results this season. The Antonio Conte men are currently at position four in the premier league table and they are set to qualify for the European competition next season if they keep up their form.
However, former Liverpool player and pundit Jamie Carrager has issued warning to premier league teams of the threat both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur will pose next season revealing that the London rivals will be really stronger next season than this season.
“The thing about Liverpool and Tottenham is it feels like there’s a little bit of unrest at both clubs. I don’t think you get that at Newcastle. Even when they don’t win a game it’s still a really good performance. I very rarely watch them and am not impressed. This [international] break may actually be coming at a bad time for them. Just because they’re doing well doesn’t mean they’ll be there next year. Chelsea and Tottenham will be a lot stronger next season.”
