Opposition leader Raila Odinga has suffered quite another blow as his anti-government rallies across the nation continue. The latest blow comes after over 30 luo Nyanza politicians met the head of state at Statehouse today.
According to reliable sources, the over 30 elected leaders pledged loyalty to support the president amidst Raila’s call against his government. In addition, the politicians revealed that plans were underway to de register themselves from ODM and other Azimio allied parties and join Ruto’s UDA.

The new change of heart comes at a time when the opposition has continuously pleaded with their leaders not to be swayed to the governments side as they are paramount in the ongoing rallies.
Raila Odinga’s numbers continue to dwindle seeing that recently other leaders allied to his party such as Kisumu senator Ojienda pulled out of the anti-governmental rallies. Others include Kajiado governor Ole Lenku who earlier on said he is ready to work with the government.
