Ferdinand Omurwa Omanyala is a celebrated Kenyan sprinter who has made a name for himself in the country in the past few years or so. This is due to his achievements in the short races that are rarely won by Kenyans.

He normally competes in the 100-meter-races, and he is currently the African record holder. Ferdinand Omanyala is also the 8th fastest man of all time in the races, after clocking a time of 9.77 in September 2021.
At just 26-year-old the father of one has indeed already achieved a lot, and this is something that many of us can just dream of.
However despite all the fame and Ferdinand Omanyala being a national icon, nothing much is known about his personal life.
What is known out there is that the sprinter is married to the love of his life Laventa Amutavi, who is also an athlete like him. The two also have one child together.

Ferdinand Omanyala also reportedly has four other siblings, and he is the third born in a family of five children. His parents are Fred Omurwa (father) and Shikanga Omurwa (mother).
Not much however is known about his siblings their names and where they are.

In a rare post however, Ferdinand Omanyala has today introduced his little known brother to the world.
This was via a joint post that the two made on their Instagram accounts, and what was clear is that his brother had the moniker of Isaac Kundu Omurwa.

The two infact made the joint post because they were celebrating how Isaac Kundu had made it to the national team of the under 20s.
“Papa must be proud of his sons. Congrats baby brother on making your first Under 20 national team. The future is bright. I can see it runs in the family 😎.

Checking through his Instagram bio, it was clear that Isaac Kundu Omurwa is also a sprinter like his elder brother Omanyala.
He infact runs the 100-metre-races and the 200-metre-races. His personal best time in the former is actually 10.73 seconds.
