Kenya’s SWAT Border Police Unit Showcase Fascinating Weaponry Power and Tactics as Ruto Lands-PHOTOS

President William Ruto is currently at the Border Police Unit training grounds in Kenyonyoo, Kitui County. The head of state is accompanied by the interior Cabinet secretary Kithure Kindiki, Police IG Japhet Koome and other police commandants.

Ruto after landing was served to some exquisite training drills which included Kenya’s Special Weapons And Tactical team (SWAT) officers who showcased their fitness and willpower to tackle the enemy.

In addition, the Border Police Unit officers left majority of Kenyans fascinated by their tactical uniforms and weapons. The entire outfit their rifles resembled the famous US SWAT team.

The team protects Kenyans living in the Kitui-Tana river border from possible attacks by Somali militants who used to feed their camels and displace residents a while back.

The president commended the NPS for their continued duty to protect Kenyans as well as keep order in their various posts. Ruto promised to continue advancing and providing better terms for all officers.
