Tumiso Mathenge, the first born daughter of award-winning Kenyan musicians Wahu Kagwi and David Mathenge alias Nameless is today not pleased with some netizens.
This is because they unfortunately mercilessly body-shamed her mother, and this happened immediately after Wahu took to her Instagram account to make her latest post.

According to the post, the ‘Sweet Love’ hit maker had updated her fans about how she had today attended the first meeting of the Talanta Hela Council, a role that she was appointed by CS for Sports and Arts Ababu Namwamba.
“Earlier today the Creatives and Sports technical teams held our 1st joint committee meeting together with the CS. All I can say is that I’m excited about the future!
Grateful for the opportunity to serve” Wahu wrote.
Wahu further accompanied the post with a photo where she was speaking while at the meeting.
Some netizens however unfortunately chose to react to her post by body-shaming the mother of three, and this is because of how she had gained weight in the past few weeks or so.

Following their merciless acts of body-shaming Wahu, her daughter Tumiso has come to her defence and clapped back at the netizens.
She especially called out her fellow ladies for the body-shaming exercise, and reminded them that Wahu was this way because she had given birth recently.
“I just wanted to address the people body shaming @wahukagwi on her recent post, I find it really sad that it’s mostly women talking about her body, honestly expected better from us and she literally just had a baby….you guys need to grow your up fr”.
Wahu adds weight
As mentioned by Tumiso Mathenge, her mother Wahu gained weight because she was pregnant for the most part of 2022.

At the time she was carrying her baby Shiru in her womb, and therefore added weight due to the extra fluids and fat in her body.
The singer however later disclosed that the pregnancy made her gain some 20 Kgs.
