Yesterday football fans saw people in VAR room refuse to look at Chelsea penalty claim after a Gallagher shot was handled in the box and Brentford goal against Arsenal which should have not stood for being offside. Same yesterday they spent a long long time reviewing and eventually cancelling a perfectly good onside goal scored by Harvey Barnes against Spurs when it was still 3-1.
The PGMOL have admitted that it was ‘human error’ which lead to VAR not fully investigating an offside call for Brentford’s equaliser against Arsenal.
Chris Foy (PGMOL): The truth is that VAR didn’t fully investigate with the lines. The lines, simply, didn’t go down. And that counts as human error. Had the lines gone down the goal would have been disallowed for offside.
Soucek CLEAR handball
Officiating in the EPL this week has been described as a joke. Chelsea should have gotten a penalty against West Ham. That was a handball against Soucek. Brentford’s equalizer against Arsenal was offside. The referees and PGMOL keep ruining the game in England.
