Nyandarua Senator Methu Kaba has today hosted several artists and TV anchors at his senator’s office in Nairobi for a consultative meeting.
The artists were led by their chairman Junior Wa Githogoro. Those in attendance included;Mugithi kings Jose Gaturura, DJ Fatxo, gospel artists Mary Wangechi, Wangui Jordan, Mirugi Dishon.
Television anchors Ken Wakuraya and Mumbi were also in attendance.
Renonwed Kikuyu secular artist Samidoh was missing in the meeting. Senator Methu confirmed that the influential artist send his apologies for not attending the meeting.
Senator Methu talks with the artists and TV anchors centred on working together to support brilliant and talented ladies and gentlemen from Nyandarua county.
The one term serving senator added that creative economy is a full time job and artists need to be nurtured and supported.
” A section of artists from Nyandarua county paid a courtesy call on my office. Our talk majorly revolved on how we can work together to support brilliant and talented ladies and gentlemen from the county. Talents and the creative economy is a full time job, that we must work on nurturing those upcoming and support those at the top” posted Nyandarua Senator Methu Kaba on his official Facebook page.
