A Kalenjin Seventh Day Church of God ‘Jezebel’ by Zebbaniah has hit the Kalenjin nation and beyond just barely few weeks after being released.
In the Biblical view, Jezebel, the wife of King Ahab was one of the wicked women mentioned in the bible due to her cruel,despotic and fierce energy who destroyed those who opposed her and killing most of the prophets and christians.
In these song, Jezebel has been referred to women in our society who are wicked, in love for money and those who do not respect others who are enjoying modern lifestyles.
“Sole kutit Jezebel,sole siyok” is part of the song meaning women who use lipsticks to make her lips beautiful and also those polishing their nails terming it not good.
“Iloche long’it Jezebel ne igiche” is also part of the song referring to women wearing tight trousers which exposes their body terming it not good at all.
The song also talks about the love for money in which these women are gold diggers who targets money from men until you find these men selling their piece of land to finance them.
The song ends by urging them to repent and we are approaching the end times to avoid being got in the sin.
