However, according to sad news reaching our media airwaves now, a school bus aboard students who were returning to school has overturned in Kitui.
According to Kamba media “Mbaitu FM”, a Syamunyu Girls Bus aboard students lost control and overturned in the Kanyangi area, Kitui County. Several students are reported to have been injured and rushed to Kanyangi Hospital for treatment. The tragic accident happened just a time when students were returning to school after a long December holiday. Photos of the accident scene that have been shared shows the bus having overturned away from the road as residents of the accident scene in disbelief.
Drivers are advised to be more vigilant, especially this time many students are returning to school. All are bei ng advised to drive carefully and ensure everyone reaches their destination safely.
