Mumias East lawmaker Hon. Peter Kalerwa Salasya has taken a break from his official duties in his constituency after landing in Mombasa to attend a crucial meeting scheduled to kick off tomorrow.
Taking to his media timeline, Salasya has confirmed that he has arrived on the Coast, Mombasa early ahead of tomorrow’s induction workshop. Salasya says that he will be away from his Constituency for two weeks and has told his constituents that he will rely miss them.
“Mapema ndio best safely landed in Mombasa for official duty for two good weeks. I will miss the great constituency of mumias East,” Says Salasya.
According to sources from Parliament, MPs will as of tomorrow Monday 23rd January, 2023 begin a 6-day induction workshop where they shall be trained on various things one being the role of committees in performing their work as provided under the standard orders.
The venue of the Workshop will be PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort, Convention Centre and Spa, in Mombasa County. Various guests will also be gracing the workshop to interact and share their experiences with the legislators.
