The KCSE candidates who took their national tests on December 2022 will receive their results before the end of this week and probably tomorrow. Earlier last week, the marking of all subjects was completed and the results were tallied. Examiners were seen exiting marking centers to signify the end of marking and tallying.
When compared to the previous year, the population of the 2022 KCSE candidacy was higher. More than 700, 000 individuals applied to take the tests in 2022. The results, according to Education CS Machogu, will be available before the end of the week. Candidates who qualify would enroll in their first semester starting in May.
Those who fail the cut-off will enroll in colleges and vocational schools in September. The registered students should expect their results to be announced on the 16th or 17th of this month. KNEC has confirmed that they had trained more examiners to enable fast marking and releasing of results. This is meant to allow enough time for candidates to prepare and join university colleges and other tertiary learning institutions.
