A 17-year old form two students is nursing injuries after she was tortured by her brother for visiting her boyfriend.
According to Report, the young girl was allegedly stripped half naked by her brother over the stated reason. He then burnt her thighs ajd backside using a hot machete. It is alleged that the mother witnessed the act and supported it. They then locked her in a room before she was rescued by neighbors.
Chair of the Nandi human rights , Reverend Simeon Nyoros led his team in rescuing the young girl and transported her to hospital for medical attention.
It was revealed that the girl developed wounds that she could not walk.
This is so sad that this young girl went through all this pain. May God see her through.
Family Members need to be enlightened in peaceful methods of solving conflicts amongst themselves. We rebuke this heinous act with seriousness it deserves. We hope justice will be served to the little girl.
