Junet Mohammed, a Suna East legislator, is arguably ODM leader Raila Odinga’s most ardent supporter.
Last year, on March 9th, he was the only lawmaker present during Raila and Uhuru’s handshake. According to those close to Raila, Junet is his most trusted Lieutenant.
Junet was born and raised in Migori County, despite having ties to Mandera County.
Junet attended Migori Primary School before enrolling at Lenana School in Nairobi. He then transferred to UON to pursue a degree in Business Administration.
Junet has kept his personal information private, but his wife has been spotted out and about.
Junet is married to the lovely Faiza Deka Jammah. Faiza made headlines in 2016 after speaking to the media after her husband, Junet, was arrested for incitement at the Pangani Police Station.
She then went silent for a while before reappearing in election campaigns, where her English eloquence shines through.
Faiza is a practicing Muslim, and her clothing reflects this. In burkas and niqabs, she looks stunning.
Junet and Faiza have five children, but there are no pictures of them and little is known about them.
