Uhuru’s Little Known British Brother Who Has Never Attended Family Gatherings Since Father’s Death

His name is Peter Magana Kenyatta. He is the son of the late Kenya’s first president, Jomo Kenyatta and third eldest brother to Kenya’s fourth president, Uhuru Kenyatta. He is a retired reporter and producer at BBC.

Peter was born as the only child to his British second wife called Edna Grace Clarke. Jomo met Edna when he was working at a nursery in Thakeham Parish, United Kingdom. They got married in a colourful wedding in 1942 but Jomo didn’t inform her that he had other wives in Kenya. In August 1943, Magana was born at Worthing hospital, West Sussex. After three years, Kenyatta left them and came back to Kenya.

Peter was last seen in Kenya during his father’s memorial service in 1979 and since then he has never again showed up in family gatherings events. It is even said that his father once tried giving him a government job to lure him to come in Kenya but he declined. His mother died in 1995 and currently, he lives in UK with his wife and three children.
