If you are a frequent listener of radio, then you probably must have heard of a beauty queen by the moniker of Tina Masika.
She is actually a Swahili news anchor and an editor who works at the Radio Africa Group-owned station Radio Jambo.

Tina Masika also co-hosts the show dubbed ‘Bustani La Massawe’ with renowned presenter Massawe Japanni, and it airs from 10 AM to 2 PM on the weekdays.

Aside from being known by her radio career, the journalist has recently revealed some little known details about her personal life, and disclosed that she is actually a member of the LGBTQ community.
Tina Masika revealed this via a recent post on her Insta stories, where she even introduced her girlfriend who goes by the moniker of Gichengo Ciku.
The Radio Jambo news anchor infact posted a photo of them on a date, and also a short video of the girlfriend caressing her left hand.

Even though not much is known about Gichengo Ciku, her Instagram bio shows that she owns an online women’s clothes shop that goes by the moniker of ‘The Emporium’. It also deals with the selling of shoes.
Other Kenyan public figures who are LGBTQ members
Today’s disclosure means that Tina Masika is among other few Kenyan public figures, who have disclosed that they are members of the LGBTQ community.
These include famous creator Brendah Jons who revealed she is gay in September 2021, and rapper Noti Flow who disclosed that she is gay in May 2021.
