Today Kandara member of parliament Alice Wahome surprised many local residents after turning up for a secondary school launch fully dressed on secondary school uniform.
The outspoken UDA allied legislator was launching Waitua secondary school in Kandara Constituency fully constructed by CDF under her patronage.
” Admission number 001- Newly constructed Waitua secondary school” wrote the Kandara legislator Alice Wahome on her official Facebook page.
” Waitua secondary school is among the schools we have built from scratch in Kandara Constituency” added Alice Wahome.
Legislator Alice Wahome post caught the eye of Nyeri Town legislator Kimani Wambugu who hilariously reacted to the post. Legislator Wambugu indirectly said that his counterpart Alice Wahome dressing code ( School Uniform) is meant to attract votes.

Madam Alice Wahome is seeking a third term on a UDA party ticket while Kimani Wambugu is keen to defend his parliamentary seat on a Jubilee party ticket.
This is not the first time for a member of parliament to wear school uniform in secondary schools events.
On 28th last month, Kapseret legislator Oscar Sudi wore full school uniform while delivering a school bus to Songolet secondary school in his Kapseret Constituency. He also opened administration block in the same institution.
