The Kenya Kwanza team led by DP Ruto have today taken their campaigns to Embu County. Ruto was accompanied by several UDA allies like Alfred Mutua, Cecily Mbarire, and they organized rallies in Kithimu, Karurumo, Kanyuambora, Ishiara and Mecca. Their agenda was selling their plan of transforming Kenya. During the rallies promised to reduce the high cost of living if he wins the August race. The leaders who had accompanied him called on voters in the Mount Kenya region to vote for DP Ruto.
However, during a stopover DP Ruto bought a shirt at KSh20,000 from an entrepreneur in Embu County. Ruto did so with the idea of wearing it during his inauguration in Kasarani Stadium. DP Ruto has been confident of a win in the August polls and he believes that he will be announced as the winner of the presidential race. Despite the many criticism he has received from his competitor he has remained firm and composed.
