Sabina Wanjiru Chege is a Kenyan politician currently in Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance coalition. She is also a former television actress and radio presenter. Currently, she serves in the National Assembly as Murang’a county woman representative.
Hon. Chege is a strong supporter of president Uhuru and his political agenda commonly referred as Big Four Agenda, that is; Food Security, Affordable Housing, Manufacturing and Affordable Healthcare for all citizen.
She is an ambitious leader since she is the founder and director of Sabina Wanjiru Foundation, an initiative meant for mentorship and awards program for students under the foundation and National Government Affirmative Action Fund in Murang’ a.Â
Sabina is a wife to her lovely husband Maina Gathito the former Dairy Board acting manager. The couple have been together and they are blessed with 3 bouncing children. She is also a staunch Christian.
Chege, as a loving mother never skips the chance to share photos of her beautiful children on her social media platforms, especially when she is wishing them a happy birthday and some of the good moments spent together with them. She takes it as her responsibility.
Before meeting and tied the marriage knot with her lovely husband, the beautiful Murang’a County Women Representative had a sweet and romantic relationship with the late famous kikuyu singer John De Mathew who unfortunately died on road accident in Thika after performance.
