Kenyans have reacted to heart-warming photos that were taken during the admission of a Form one Turkana boy at the prestigious Kapsabet Boys High School.
As the image went viral, Kenyans have sent messages of goodwill to the boy who was accompanied by his parents all the way from Turkana upto Kapsabet, a distance of not less than 400 kilometers.
Sources indicate that the family of the boy is not financially stable as they are relying on aid from well wishers.
Indeed, as he starts off his four year journey, hopes are high that there will be light at the end of the tunnel.
Recently, opera News Desk highlighted the story of another Turkana boy who was needy, Starlone Ekuwom, who was sponsored by the Mitchel Boit foundation to the same school.
Indeed, Starlone beat all odds and left many surprised as he scored As in 2021 KCSE. He managed to scoop 83 out of the maximum 84 points.
The story of Starlone and now this second boy admitted at Kapsabet High School are a true reflection of the famous words of wisdom that education is the only equalizer.
We wish him the very best as he starts off his academic journey at Kenya’s top school.
