The governor for Nyamira County, Hon. Amos Nyaribo has introduced a new oxygen plant in Nyamira County Referral Hospital.
Amos Nyaribo said, “We have improved the state of the Nyamira Referral Hospital since January, 2022. My score card is clear and we have made good steps into improving service delivery at our hospitals. For a long time, Nyamira county hospital was receiving it’s oxygen support from Kisii hospital. Sometimes, it was a toll order to procure this rare yet very important commodity to the management of patients. We later received a 300litre/hr oxygen plant that played a big role even during the COVID-19 era.”
Nyamira County Governor adds that with the soon coming oxygen piping in the hospital, the hospital will be able to fully support patients in need of this rare commodity.
