In Her Majesty’s Kingdom, several players are paid a fortune. Here are the top ten Premier League salaries 2021-22.
A long scarcity. For five years now, Manchester United has not won a title. Which is an eternity for a club of this caliber which has invested so much in recent transfer markets. But the Mancunians nevertheless dominate a ranking, that of the highest paid players in the Premier League 2021-2022 established by The Sun. Indeed, five Red Devils are included. In the lead and unsurprisingly, we find Cristiano Ronaldo (37 years old).
The Portuguese has a weekly salary of £510,000, or around 606,900 euros. Second place is occupied by Kevin De Bruyne (30). The Belgian from Manchester City earns around £400,000 a week (around 476,100 euros). On the podium, and there it is a surprise, it is David De Gea (31 years old) who is in third position. The Man Utd goalkeeper earns £375,000 a week, around a salary of 446,300 euros.

Residents of Old Trafford also spent a fortune on Jadon Sancho (21). The Englishman, dislodged from Borussia Dortmund, is paid £350,000 per week (416,600 euros). He is ahead of Raphaël Varane (28) and his £340,000 per week, or 404,700 euros. The central defender is the highest paid tricolor player in the English championship. In sixth position, we find Romelu Lukaku (28 years old). The Belgian is the first player, excluding City and United, in this ranking.
The Red Devil, who is going through a difficult season, can console himself with a nice jackpot of £325,000 weekly (386,900 euros). Behind him, several players from the two Manchesters share the places. Thus, Raheem Sterling (27) and Jack Grealish (26) are tied. The two Pep Guardiola players are paid £300,000 a week (about 357,100 euros). They are followed by Paul Pogba (29 years old, MU) and N’Golo Kanté (30 years old) who earn £290,000 a week, or 345,200 euros. Premier League clubs are breaking the bank more than ever this season!
